Not sure why all the Round Gobies from the minnow trap have blood on their lips? Maybe it is an infection. Botulism? Maybe they were injured trying escape. The only benthic fish caught in my trap at the Bridgeview Marina in Pt. Edward has been the round goby. I also get the occasional emerald shiner.
