The 'banana belt' or Carolinian Canada is a region in Ontario found south of a line which runs approximately from Grand Bend to Toronto. This blog follows my exploration of the area.
Thanks Blake, I was struggling. I can see now that the markings match. The colour was quite a bit more vibrant than my field guide shows, which was throwing me off.
Silver-spotted Skipper! Common and quite large for a skipper.
