The 'banana belt' or Carolinian Canada is a region in Ontario found south of a line which runs approximately from Grand Bend to Toronto. This blog follows my exploration of the area.
From left to right clockwise: Wood Ducks, Mallard, Song Sparrow, Song Sparrow, Grey Catbird, Yellow Warbler, Yellow Warbler, Eastern Kingbird, Cedar Waxwing.
Spotted Sandpiper (very common)! I stopped in there this morning but didn't spend long as it was a bit rainy. Rather discouraging with the trash at the entrance!
I saw an interesting longish tailed bird there two days ago. I went back this morning to try to see it again without luck. The trash there is an ongoing problem.
