The 'banana belt' or Carolinian Canada is a region in Ontario found south of a line which runs approximately from Grand Bend to Toronto. This blog follows my exploration of the area.
Speaking anecdotally the pond at home has numerous green frogs and early in the spring this is how they look. Very dark.
Thanks I agree, I can't come up with another species it would be. I'd say that the dorsal ridges are another indication.
