The 'banana belt' or Carolinian Canada is a region in Ontario found south of a line which runs approximately from Grand Bend to Toronto. This blog follows my exploration of the area.
Thanks Blake. Without a view of the indentifying spot on the breast of the song sparrow,or the underwing markings on the butterfly I couldn't ID those two. I thought I could see a black bill on the gulls, which made them bonies.

Erin,
Your blog has taken on a new identity. Very nice. Sounds like you had a very nice day.
Thanks, I am not sure if I love how it tiles. But you will recognize the forest as being Clark Wright. Looking forward to tomorrow.
Nice assortment of wildlife. Yes, bonies are the gulls, Song Sparrow is the sparrow and a Question Mark butterfly!
